The Air New Zealand Hawke’s Bay International Marathon comes to the region for the second time this weekend, following on from last year’s hugely successful inaugural event.

The women’s race at the Air New Zealand Hawke’s Bay International Marathon this Saturday appears to be anyone’s in 2017. With first and second from last year not returning, the door is open for a new winner to emerge from a field of primarily new contenders.

The men’s race at this Saturday’s Air New Zealand Hawke’s Bay International Marathon could well be a home coming celebration, with leading contenders Daniel Wallis and Will O’Connor returning home to take on the race as well as catch up with family and friends.
