Food and wine festival
The Finish Line Event Hub at the stunning Elephant Hill Estate & Winery offers New Zealand's best finish line festival; where you can relax, soak up the atmosphere, refuel and enjoy celebrating your achievement with friends and family. You can make a day of it whilst cheering on other finishers, having a well-earned massage, enjoying the entertainment and the best of local Hawke's Bay food and wine. It's the kind of festive atmosphere you won't want to leave!
Once you have crossed the finish line there will be water, PURE nutrition, bananas, medical facilities and a rest area available immediately should you require them.
There will be great music, MCs keeping you up to date with snippets of event info and food vendors galore - pretty much all you need to chill before prize giving.
Finisher Photos
Photos are taken of all competitors throughout the day on course and at the finish line by our official photographer. Photos will be available online 48hrs after the event to view and purchase. Be sure to smile when you see a photographer and have your race number clearly visible from the front so the photographer can identify you.

Prizes
Prize-giving
The 10km and Half Marathon prize-giving will take place at 12:30pm on Saturday 26 August at Elephant Hill Estate & Winery.
Runaway Hawke's Bay Marathon and Kennedy Park Resort Kids Run prizes will be awarded at the prize-giving at 2:30pm on Saturday 26 August Elephant Hill Estate & Winery. Prizes must be collected at prize-giving and if unclaimed will not be posted out following the event.
In the event of really bad weather, and the prize-giving not being able to take place, it will be cancelled, and there will be no postponement time scheduled. Prizes will be available to be collected post-race Saturday from the information desk.
Prize Money
Prize money will be awarded based on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female runner over the finish line in the Marathon, and the 1st male and female over the finish line in the Half Marathon.

* All prizes are in NZ dollars and those prizes above $500 are subject to 20% resident withholding tax. Men and women receive equal prize money for all events.
Finisher's Rewards
New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty Marathon - Everyone finishing the Marathon will receive a medal. All finishers' results are available online after the event. Non-monetary prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd placing in each running age group category for men and women, and will be based on participant's mat time.
La Roche Posay Half Marathon – Everyone finishing the Half Marathon will receive a medal. All finishers' results are available online after the event. Non-monetary prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd placing in each running age group category for men and women, and will be based on participant's mat time.
Havana Coffee 10km Run - Everyone finishing the 10km event will receive a medal. All finishers' results are available online after the event. Non-monetary prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd placing in each running age group category for men and women, and will be based on participant's mat time.
Medal Engraving
Commemorate your achievement and customise your medal by having your Name and Official Time engraved. Your name and time will be engraved onto a custom tag which will then be posted to you 3 weeks post event. All you have to do is stick your tag into the allocated space on the back of your medal.
